Privacy Policy
Who we are
GamingHighlightAI (gaminghighlightai.com) turns gaming live streams and videos into short highlight clips. Contact: gaminghighlightaisupport@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account sign-in: when you sign in with Twitch, YouTube (Google) or Kick, we receive your public profile — account ID, username / display name, avatar and, where the platform provides it, your email address.
- Connected accounts: when you connect YouTube, Instagram, Kick or TikTok, we store the access tokens those platforms give us so we can do what you ask (for example detect your LIVE, list your recent streams or publish a clip). Tokens are stored encrypted.
- TikTok: with TikTok Login Kit we receive your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar (scope user.info.basic) to show which TikTok account is connected. We do not read your TikTok videos, followers or messages.
- Your streams and clips: while you are LIVE, or when you ask us to process a VOD, we record or download the public stream, analyse it with AI and create highlight clips, thumbnails and titles.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We store your email and subscription status; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: basic server logs (IP address, pages requested, errors) for security and to keep the service running.
How we use your data
Only to provide the service: sign you in, detect and record your LIVE streams, create and store your clips, write titles and hashtags, publish clips where you ask us to, manage your subscription and give support. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Stream recordings and generated clips are deleted automatically after 5 days. Download or publish the clips you want to keep.
- Connected-account tokens are kept until you disconnect the account or ask us to delete your data.
- Billing records are kept as required by law.
Services we use
Render (website hosting and database), Hetzner (video processing), Cloudflare R2 (storage of clips and thumbnails), OpenAI (writing clip titles and captions from text), Stripe (payments), and the platforms you connect: Twitch, Google / YouTube, Kick, Meta / Instagram and TikTok. Use of YouTube data is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy; you can revoke our access at any time at Google security settings.
Google user data (YouTube)
When you choose Continue with YouTube or connect YouTube, Google shows you exactly which permissions we ask for. We ask only for these, and use each one only for the feature next to it:
- openid and your email address (userinfo.email) — to create your GamingHighlightAI account, sign you in, and send account and billing emails.
- See your YouTube account (youtube.readonly) — to read your channel name and ID, to see when your channel is LIVE so we can clip that stream, to check that a video you want to post to another platform comes from your own channel, and to show the views, likes and comments of the videos you published through GamingHighlightAI on the Publisher page.
- Upload YouTube videos (youtube.upload) — to upload a clip to your channel only when you press Publish, with the title, description and privacy you choose. We never upload without your action, and we never edit or delete your existing videos.
Sharing, transfer and disclosure of Google user data
We do not sell, rent or trade Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not show it to other users. We do not send Google user data to OpenAI or any other AI provider, and it is never used to train AI models. We disclose Google user data only: (1) to the providers that host the service for us and process the data only on our instructions — Render (website hosting and database) and Cloudflare R2 (encrypted storage of your sign-in token and of the list of clips you published); (2) to Google / YouTube itself, when you ask us to publish a clip; and (3) when the law requires it, or to protect the security of the service — and then only the minimum needed. GamingHighlightAI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep Google user data and how to delete it
- Your YouTube access token is stored encrypted for as long as YouTube stays connected. Press Disconnect on the Accounts page and the stored token is deleted at once. You can also remove our access at any time in your Google security settings.
- Your email, channel name and channel ID are kept while your GamingHighlightAI account exists, so you can sign in.
- Views, likes and comments are only held in the server's temporary memory to show them on Publisher, refreshed every few minutes; they are never stored in a database and are gone when the server restarts.
- The list of clips you published (YouTube video ID, title and date) is kept while your account exists so Publisher can show it.
- Deleting everything: email gaminghighlightaisupport@gmail.com or follow /data-deletion. We delete your Google user data, tokens and published-clip list within 30 days; only billing records the law makes us keep are retained, and they contain no YouTube data.
Your choices and rights
You can disconnect any platform on the Accounts page at any time, which deletes its stored tokens. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing gaminghighlightaisupport@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in and remember your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, tokens are encrypted, and each creator can only see their own clips and connections.
Children
GamingHighlightAI is not intended for children under 16.
